I have published stuff on Substack that I don't think is ready. I think I've often published the penultimate draft. It's a stark difference for me. I didn't show earlier drafts to anybody before Substack. But I'm lucky to have a book audience, too, so I can think of Substack as a serious playground with ever changing slides and swing sets.
