This is Not A Little Lamb, a newsletter featuring short stories too hot for the lit mag world.

When I was three years old, I stormed out of Sunday school and declared, “I am not precious and I am not a little lamb!” I don’t remember what the Sunday school teachers said that annoyed me, but the smart money’s on something condescending.

In that same spirit of independence, I’m launching this newsletter wherein I will publish my short stories. Submitting to literary magazines takes too long, and I have so many stories that it would take decades for them all to see the light of day if I waited for lit mags to publish them.

Not a Little Lamb will feature a new story each week. Audio versions of the stories will be available eventually, but for now, enjoy the text versions. I am excited to join the Substack revolution, and I hope you will come on this journey with me.
